I'll be honest, I could do smoothies every. single. day. However, making smoothies jam packed with fruit is often times all together too sugary and you miss out on the whole point of a smoothie... consuming delicious nutrients in a cold creamy cup.
This particular recipe was born from a LOVE of two delicious products that I consumer on a regular basis that are, get this, NOT FRUIT. WOAH!
So let's jump right in....
Vital Proteins Collagen Beauty Greens is an insanely delicious supplement that will improve your hair, skin and nails, plus is a yummy probiotic supplement. Between the anti-aging benefits and the the gut support, I'm all over this product and you should be too. I'd also like to share that I am not generally a protein powder person, I've had some bad reaction to some. HOWEVER, these guys create some incredibly pure protein options, two of which I use regularly are their gelatin product and their collagen peptides. If you want a clean protein with minimal ingredients and flavor free, take these babies for a test drive.
Townsend's Matcha Tea Townsend's is a tea company that has perfected the art of tea and kombucha. You can buy all of their teas online, or, if you are in Oregon or Montana, you can stop in to one of their quant tea shops and enjoy a perfectly brewed cup of tea. My favorite location is the one on Mississippi in N. Portland. I may be biased since I used to live two blocks from them.
