Paleo Garlic Rosemary Balsamic Lamb Burgers

This past week, this recipe was on our membership meal plan and I have to tell you that I have received emails, FB messages and texts telling me how awesome this recipe is.  Since the response was so amazing, I just had to share with  it with all of you.

You can substitute the lamb for beef or turkey, however, I have to highly recommend the lamb.  The rich flavor is perfect for the seasoning you're putting into it.  Cost varies depending on where you live, but my local grocery store sells grass-fed pre-packaged ground lamb for $6.99 per LBS.

Paleo Garlic Rosemary Balsamic Lamb Burgers

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 LBS Ground Lamb
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Dried Rosemary
  • 2 TBS Balsamic
  • 2 TBS Coconut Oil (or Olive Oil)
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

SIDE OPTIONS

Serve this with a side of Sweet Potato Fries and simple spinach salad (as shown)

DIRECTIONS

Grate garlic.

Melt coconut oil.

In a bowl, combine all the ingredients.  Using your hands, mix everything together and make 2-3 burger patties. 

Turn on your grill, or pan to medium-high heat.  Cook on one site for 4 minutes, turn and cook another 3 minutes.  (This is for medium-rare).
