Changing the world through food, process and eduction.

Eating Clean, Cooking Dirty (ECCD) is the vision of founder Samantha Rodgers (aka Sam) who saw an opportunity to help families get good food on the table without spending a lot of time in the kitchen.  Using her background in process improvement and business growth strategy combined with her obsession with good food and a voracious appetite for learning about health, wellness and nutrition, ECCD was born.

While it is easy to create a meal plan, it is another thing to empower people with the tools to implement a meal plan while also learning about whole nutrient dense foods.  Our programs are designed to maximize time in the kitchen by using weekly prep day guides: a step-by-step process to prep the week's meals ahead maximizing the use of time and ultimately reducing your overall time spent in the kitchen.

At the turn of the last century, we had a food scarcity problem that was eliminated through food science and technology resulting in more food available to all people. Sadly, our obsession with science and technology has meant that we have created fake foods that are cheaper and more readily available than real whole nutrient dense foods.  We have un-educated ourselves and left the wisdom of our forefathers with our forefathers.  The result is a nation that is living longer, however, many are only surviving in disease, obesity and mental instability.

Whole nutrient dense food is the foundation to rediscover our health and be well throughout our lives, not just in our youth.

At the end of the day, talk is cheap, but a plan of action can change our lives.

I was barely surviving...

Eating Clean changed my life way back in 2008 (before kids), when I could spend hours searching cookbooks, blogs and family recipes to create the perfect Clean menu for the week.  It was fabulous.

Then I had a child.  My world went from "clean and feeling amazing" to "zombie eating a croissant sandwich every day" (not kidding).  Adjusting to all the things that come with being a new parent was hard enough, but by not feeding my body well, I was falling into a deep abyss that made everything harder.

I was barely surviving, I knew the better path to take and when I finally put my foot down and went back to eating Clean, I went from surviving to thriving.

It's about using time better...

We all have the same 24-hours in a day, so why are some people able to get more done?  It comes down to how we use our time.

I'm not a trained chef.  I am an expert in process change management... say what? Before starting Eating Clean, Cooking Dirty (ECCD), I worked with companies to create and implement processes that helped them use their time more efficiently

I took that expertise, compounded it with an unwavering commitment to the importance of clean delicious food for all and created Weekly Meal Plan and Prep Guides that will change the way you feed yourself and your people.
